TREE FELLING
Tree felling is the careful removal of a tree when no other course of action is deemed suitable. For example when the tree is dead, dying or diseased. If the circumstances allow, the tree can be skilfully felled from ground. With the careful use of wedges, pulling ropes or winches to assist we are able to fell most trees where reasonably practicable.
If the tree cannot be felled in one go, then it must be sectionally dismantled. Our skilled climbers are trained and up to date with the latest industry standards. Knowing when to employ various roping and rigging techniques for each situation guarantees the safe dismantling of even the most difficult trees.
SECTIONAL DISMANTLING FROM ROPE & HARNESS
Sectional dismantling is the process of taking a tree down methodically and in stages using ropes and pulleys, as well as friction devices to facilitate full control of each operation. In this manner all timber and branches can be safely lowered to the ground with precision and accuracy. Therefore greatly reducing the risk of damage to any targets or obstacles in the immediate area.
This process is used when a straight fell of the tree is unsuitable, for example it may be situated amongst buildings, sheds, greenhouses, or borders. In extreme circumstances, mobile lift platforms and cranes may have to be used.
