Our hedge trimming service is available all year round(species dependent) and we can undertake the cutting of any sized hedge. Removal of all cuttings is included in our quotation unless otherwise specified.
We are happy to provide a one-off service, but can also provide a program for annual maintenance if required. Typically we recommend hedge trimming at least once a year to be able to create a nice compact hedge with the crisp edges we are known for. Our service is completely flexible and provided as requested and instructed by the customer.
Hedge restoration, removal & re-planting
Our customers generally love their hedges and take pride in having them presented in a pristine condition. However, if left without regular trimming a hedge can soon become overgrown, in some cases making it impossible to restore to their former glory. With some varieties such as Laurel or Hawthorn, it is usually possible to cut the overgrown stems hard back. In some cases leaving almost only a stump is the best course of action. A new dense and crisp hedge can then be encouraged and manicured from the regrowth over the following years.
In the case of Leylandii and most other coniferous hedges, once they have been neglected the most feasible solution is to completely remove and start afresh. We are able to carry out the safe and efficient removal of any hedging, along with the complete removal of the trunk with our stump grinding service. In addition we can advise on a suitable variety of hedging to re-plant, as well as source quality plants from our local reputable nursery and re-plant to your specification. With the right aftercare a new, compact, well kept hedge can be acquired quicker than you might think.
